Home The Golden Rule is one of the fundamental moral principles that is present in almost all religious traditions of the world. Do unto others, how you like to be done unto. Speak about others, how you would like to be spoken about. Treat others, how you want to be treated. A good concept of present day human rights which in turn is a yardstick to measure modern day civilization. Experience is acclaimed to make one the master on all fields. If this is so, then it may be difficult for anybody to claim being a master in some important issues that affect us all such as religion, culture and death. This is so since it will be extremely difficult to find someone who has practiced and experienced all religions, cultures and death in order to give us accurate information about these three issues of concern. Surprisingly, the menace caused by clash through religion has belittled the ultimate end; and to all people irrespective of creed, colour, faith, culture and religion. This ultimate end is Death. Why then is greed, injustice, wickedness and selfishness? Death is the only problem that defies all solutions. Maybe as science progresses there may be one, but so far none and there is doubt there will ever be. If it is eventually discovered, can only one person own the world? Considering this, why can't the human race live in peace and harmony? The need to accept religious and cultural diversity and bringing forth a programme of Global Ethic is often ignored but very important. At least for peace. In as much as many religions and scriptures of the world is embedded with some ethics of reciprocity, which in turn will make us treat others fairly. It will be a good idea for us all to strive to abide by this for better and peaceful living. Love for yourself and others, hope for contentment and faith in God for being the power that surpasses the ultmate end.  The Golden Rule Outreach is headed by Rev.
